Welcome!

I am Kate McPhee and this is my home, studio, and shop in rural Vermont. I am an artist, thinker, and maker of things of all sorts. I make a wide array of different items, from the purely artistic to the most utilitarian, all realized in ways that bring forth the greatest beauty and joy for me as the maker, the person who encounters my work, and hopefully for the planet, too.

This is my online forum where you may shop, learn about classes and special events, and view my writings and archives of my work. My showroom is open by appointment or by special announcement. I plan to have regular hours seasonally. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. I welcome bespoke work for individuals and wholesale for other retail outlets. Please enjoy my offerings!

I am an painter and sculptor, textile artist, writer, and maker of things of all sorts. I live in the small city of North Adams in the beautiful northern Berkshires of Massachusetts in an old textile mill that has been converted into artist lofts. Here I make art, clothes, community, and my best efforts to heal and enrich the world.
